Default Fullsac black

Was getting tired of the ugly gray that my Fullsac header had become so yesterday I took the rear cylinder exhaust off and painted the Fullsac S header black with hi heat paint. Put it back on tonight and I think it looks a lot better. The hardest part was getting the heat shield back on without scratching all the paint off. I ended up wrapping the S pipe with a shop rag until I got the clamps started and then removed it. Just had to do one small touch up with a Q-tip.

That does look better. I may just do the same thing. Thanks for the idea...

What kind of paint was it? Where did you get it?

I don't recall the brand name, got it at Shucks. Rated at 1200 degrees and had a picture of auto headers on the can and the cap was flat black.

I'm probably missing the obvious here, but why don't they sell a chrome one. I'm guessing it would blue too badly?

The header is fine, it would be nice if they would design a heat shield for that area... (chrome)

But that would largly impack the cost...

I will ask him the next time I talk to him about a chrome option...may be too expensive....I will let you all know.
