Ore the fairing off this winter for a total rebuild. Is an 02 Electraglide. We have it back together and are working on getting it started and therein lies the problem. We have no fuel pump noise. Traced the wires back and forth, we have a good fuse and we hear the relay clicking. Wires are going thru a device just under the drivers side fairing speaker. What is this?

Thats not on my 2008 SG... I would say alarm also.. Looks like its swinging around...Looks not factory but that screw is a hd torx.....hmmm.... Alarm that shuts off the fuel pump? Can you bypass it....
If the relay works and you get test light to come on....Connect a wire to the pump from that live wire... see if it runs

It's the "Low Fuel Module" and it should have a connector with 4 wires #1-O; #2-Y/R; #3-empty; #4-Y/W; #5-empty; #6-BK. See page 8-117 2002 Touring Service Manual, Figure 8-144.

Thanks guys , low fuel module is good to know. We figured the problem out. The male end on the attachment to the fuel pump on top of the tank had a bent pin. Straightened it out and problem solved
