Default Corbin Dual Touring Seat

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking of buying a Corbin Dual Touring seat for my 2012 Ultra. I've read many reviews about what riders think of Corbin seats, but couldn't find much on what passengers think. My wife usually rides her own bike, but sometimes she just wants to hop on the back of mine. Does anyone have a Corbin Dial Touring seat and what does your passenger think about it?
Thanks

My wife is very comfortable on both versions of the Dual Tour I currently have. A gel and non gel.

My wife loved mine. I'll probably be getting one at some point for the new bike.

My wife enjoys our Corbin Dual Tourer. I've been riding on Corbin's for years. Probably have 250K on em. I'm a huge fan, but they're not for everyone. I enjoy the driver back rest, and the firm seat. I've got 98K on this one and it's still great. I treat the leather twice a year, and it's pretty much bullet proof. You can pick up used one's on EBay, ride it for a while, and if you like it, order a new one and resell the 1st on Ebay. That way you'll know how it's going to feel.

My wife is so-so with it.

She is sitting here, and I asked, she said... I dunno. It's ok, I guess.

I think part of the issue is I have a seat from a pre-14 bike, and with my tourpak adjusted all the way back, it tends to make her slide forward, with the tourpak all the way up, she feels crowded and legs not so comfy....

I reckon I need to get it somewhere in-between.

We've had ours for many years and done several tours of 2,500+ miles. It was fine for short days for Mrs B until we replaced the shocks with Ohlins. The ride comfort is far improved now and we can manage longer days in the saddle, for longer.

Where a wife is concerned, they get a different riding experience to the rider, not least because she sits over the rear wheel. So IMHO her comfort is directly affected by the quality not only of the seat, but also the shocks. If you currently have cheap air shocks then bin them and get some decent ones!

My wife complained about sliding forward as well. It took hers a little longer to get broken in simply because she's not on her half of the seat nearly as much as I am on mine. But once she got it broken in and got her butt print in it, so to speak, she loves it. She hated the stock seat, as did I. We have done several 500, 600 mile days with no issues at all. It seems to just keep getting better.

Your wife will love it if her a$$ is the size of a 16 year old. That was my experience with a Corbin dual tourer on an 06 EG. I loved it, but if momma is not happy....
