Rubber thing under the head light
I lost that rubber gasket thing off the bottom of my headlight going to BBB last year. Damn thing just fell out. Does anyone know the purpose for this thing and do I need to replace it?

Only rubber thing I can think of that goes near the light is the neopreme rubber gasket that goes between the fairing and forks. Is it necessary? Probably not! Does it have a purpose? I would think so. Keeps dirt and water from getting in behind the fairing.

It is called Fairing Skirt Seal. Part Number 62787-96.
I have attached a diagram of the outer fairing for a 2013 Street Glide, but it should be the same for batwings in general. I got the diagram from Ronnie's HD.
