No help in Tech forum maybe here?
OK, this is a newbie question. I removed the front wheel to have the tire replaced on my 2010 Street Glide. Followed the instructions in my service manual to re-install. My question is that the spacers on the left fork leg fit flush against the inside of the fork slider. On the right side the spacer on top portion of the fork slider appears to be flush but the lower portion (axle retainer?) is not flush. There is a very small gap.
When I disassembled/reassembled I didn't completely remove the axle retainer and slipped the axle back in, then following the manual I torqued the axle bolt and then tightened and torqued the axle retainer bolts.
Am I missing something or is this normal?
