Ive read posts about hog tune amps causing interference. I recently had hog tunes and the amp installed and I have a inner faring antenna and it is causing interference not bad but still there. I was wondering if anyone knows a easy way to fix it. I know they have a revised amp out but I had them installed about a month ago I would think that they aren't selling the un revised one any more any input would be great!
I had the big ultra amp in mine and the rear channel burned out about 3 months out of warranty. I've been thinking about going with a Boom amp hoping HD did more testing in the heat with theirs.
I had the same issue except mine was so bad that I just ran a smaller outside antennae again and relocated it. I also call Hogtunes and they were infact very nice but the bottom line is it's a analog amp and if you just installed yours you have the updated version and you will still get the interference as you have stated. So I'd suggest looking at another amp or going back to a outside antennae again.
I know this is not what you want to here but apparently they can't produce a analog amp that will not transfer interference with the hidden antennae as we have. This is actually coming from Hogtunes them self's. He suggested I try and hide my hidden somewhere else other than the fairing.
I got the same set up and scott at hog tunes said there is nothing out there that can be run under fairing to give the same performance as the out back antenna.
I was reading last night and the said that the revised one had a green light and the unrevised one had a red light and mine has a red light. Im going to call them monday and see what they have to say.

Did you run your antenna some where else that worked for you?
