Default Code po572

Don't know if this is right forum but here it is. Installed new grips on my scoot and check engine light comes on. Pulled code Po572 break switch low, how is this fixed? The install went smooth so I thought, what did I do wrong? Do I need to disassemble and do over or what?

My guess would be that you broke the brake light switch *** that is behind your lever!
