This is what I am saying. Obviously it is the consumers responsibility to install the wheel and do this unless they are getting it installed here at our shop. I avhe never had a customer complain about checking for clearance or mess up teh fender beyond repair, but I have had customers call with the paint burned off the top of teh fender. If this kind of operation is beyond your skill level take it to a shop and have them call us. We can explain what needs to be done.

I want my customers to avhe all the information before they spend their money. I'm not into the old bait and switch. Does it sound simple to check clearances? Yes. Is it simple to do? Yes it is. Can it be screwed up? Absolutely. That is where the consumer is on their own but if you have the ability to bolt a wheel on to your bike I assume that checking clearance and elongating two holes will be simple enough. I know, assuming is the problem.

Thank you for answering promptly. Like I said love the wheel, quality, Metzler rubber, HogPros is a class act, the check sheet that came with my new wheel proves it. It has been 3-4 mo's since I road my bike prior to the other day, but I really liked the handling and absolutely no vibration or shake at least up to 75mph. Pretty sure it will be smooth way beyond that. Once again Thanks for the direction on the holes and I will check clearance using the old nut trick.
