Rider Back rest Mount

Hello all,

I have learned a lot from all the fine folks here, so I am hoping that you can assist me one more time.

I have a bad back and use a backrest to be able to ride comfortably over longer rides. I just purchased a 2014 Streetglide. Due to the wonderful winter weather here in the northeast, I have a whopping 10 miles on my machine.

I found the back rest and mount here in the classifieds and have it here now. I am just not sure of the mounting. It sure seems like that metal mount is going to wreck havoc on my fender. Does anyone have the HD mount and can they tell me what it does to the fender? I really do not want to screw up a brand new fender.

I have one on my 2010 Ultra. It doesn't touch the fender.
