Tourmaster makes some nice bags in various sizes that are configured for motorcycle use. I've used their bags for years.

I'm using this HD bag. I liked it because it's cut to fit the HD rack and it has 2 sizes. In the photo is the "small" size. You can unzip the bottom and add another 4-5" for more space.

Me and 2 friends are looking at the full dresser bag by kuryakyn.

I was originally looking at the grantour bag but recently saw it in person and its pretty small. it looks like it would hold a full face and some socks lol

What im looking for is something i can use for a week long trip, that will hold an extra pair of boots/shoes, but wont break the bank buying it.

Im riding a 13 SG but my two buddies are riding a Sportster and a VStar 950.
So i'll have some extra capacity with my saddles but they wont.
I've got the full dresser and love it plenty of expandable room and you can use it as a back rest if you are riding solo. Got it on sale last summer from Leatherup

I have a saddleman bag I use on the FLHX when traveling. It's the model that has the full side zipper that allows access when still on bike.

Four years old and still like new.

I wouldn't recommend anything kuryakin.

Default Sac

http://www.coolsac.com/

Family owned company located in Buffalo, N.Y. They made "Harley by SAC" luggage from 1997 - 2010. Bags have several "pockets" sewn on the back to accommodate different width backrests (older bags periodically appear on ebay, but may not fit newer touring bikes). Size, workmanship, warranty and price make for great luggage. It has replaced my Dowco Iron Rider Luggage (which is very good; SAC is better)

Normally, I agree with that, but the full dresser bag is the exception in my experience. It is very well made with quality materials and very functional.

I have the Harley bag. It expands on each side as well and you can stuff a lot inside. This was a weekend trip until the wife had a mishap, locked up the front tire and went down. After an ER visit for a dislocated shoulder I had to go back and get the gear we left with her bike. The expanding feature of the bag came in handy.

I got the Viking Bag extra large sissy bar bag and it's huge. I can carry all my camping equipment in it and it's pretty inexpensive for the size.

I bought a SAC (the big one) years ago and it a quality bag. Never a problem, has extra pockets on the side. Room enough for a lot of things. Has a good securing system with straps and it will fit extra wide back rest or skinny ones.
