Default Need some help please

I need to replace my voltage regulator on my 99 Ultra. I figures should be pretty straight forward, until I found the the hoses to my oil cooler un right over the mounting bolts to the regulator. Can I take those hoses off the cooler with the bike not running to get to them? And if i can, any thing special to connect them back up? Hate to pay $$ to someone to do something I can. I took some very crappy pictures for your amusement!

The chaps over in the Evo forum may be able to help. Rather than disconnecting the hoses, will unbolting the cooler itself allow you some wriggle room to get the regulator out? It is easy enough to disconnect the oil pipes, but a bit more messy! The Evo forum also has an excellent Sticky on checking your charging system, courtesy of Dr Hess, if you want to confirm that your regulator needs replacement.
