Will be going the month of July and first week of August.....not yet sure what part of Alaska yet, all depends if I go solo or with a bud that is thinking about the trip
Bike week in Kilkenny Ireland 23-28th May (I think)......If I win Lotto, I will see you there!
Where am I actually going? Who knows, tell ya when I get there ....no rallies either, just some fun on the road with me mates, maybe a poker run or bike show or two
Honda Hoot in Tennesseein the middle of June
Honda VTX Ride in Denver July 1-4
Leave for the Hoot June 17th
Get home on the 25th
Pack and leave on the 27th of June to ride out
through Iowa, up into Minnesota
Then across S. Dakota for a few days in the Black Hills area
Down through Wyoming into Denver by Saturday June 30th
for the Honda VTX Ride In
Then maybe ride down to Florida to see my best friend and his family(my God Daughter too) and maybe ride to Key West. This last trip is a BIG maybe, that's a long ride
Am I the only one who is surprised about posting on HDForums about going to Honda Hoots? I mean, I'm going to Disneyland with my son, I don't post that here...
What's the difference? Maybe I just should have said that I/we(7 of us, 3 ride HD 3 ride Honda and 1 Victory) are going to Knoxville to ride the Blue Ridge PKWY? [sm=huh.gif]
Nothing concrete yet. Abilene, TX under discussion. Maybe next year fly/ride Boston and north. I live within 45 minutes of Zion National Park and all the others too. We did the Zion Thunder in the Tunnel run yesterday. Never get tired of that one. I need to explore Utah more.
In early May a group of four (two HD's and two BMW's) will be going to the Grand Canyon from Baton Rouge, via S. CO and Monument Valley. On the return, through UT (Zion, Arches, etc.); Grand Junction and Gunnison, CO; then back across N. NM. We did this route in 2002, except we didn't go up to and into CO on the return trip Arches NP. This one will take probably two days longer, probably 10-11 total.
I may ride with another group to NC a few weeks after that, which is one of our favorite routes, doing the Cherahala, Parkway, and staying in Maggie Valley. Can't get enough of this new SG.
