Way too often we read of complaints about bad customer service on these forums. This post is not one of them.
This past Friday or Saturday I ordered a new windshield for my Street Glide from Long Ride Shields. In my rush to order I forgot to mention HD Forums for a discount. So after the fact, I emailed LRS and asked if my shield would arrive in time for an upcoming Daytona trip. I also asked if it were still possible to get the discount I'd forgotten to ask for with the original order.
Today the windshield arrived. Quality merchandise to be sure. Also, I received an email response from James Ferlingere - director of operations at LRS. He stated that the shield would be here. True because it arrived today a few hours before his email.
James also informed me that I would get the discount of $17.99 and that he'd already credited my PayPal account. An email from PayPal arrived about the same time as the one from LRS confirming the refund.
Great company to deal with and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them. And don't forget to mention HD Forums for your 20% discount!
I just spoke with James about my shield order today. Very impressed. Their Etcher is down so my shield is delayed waiting on it be fixed until middle of this week. Very impressed so far despite the delay.
