No problem, actually that is the post that brought me back to HDForums.com when I started looking into changing the rear lighting.
I was thrilled when I looked in the FSM and the FLHTCU, FLHR & FLHX had the same wiring.

My lights do work, but they operate as Turn & Brake, I only want Turn & Running.

On my 05 Glide, I didn't want all 3 (as provided by the MoCo's conversion kit), so I replaced the single filament sockets with dual filament, changed bulbs and ran the new contacts to the license plate bulb wire, piece of cake, won't be the case with the new bike.

If they can't reprogram the BCM, I'll just add the wiring and LEDS in the turn signal housings as running lights. The license plate is moved to the saddlebag guard rails and I'm building a small 6 white LED "light bar" that will mount to the license plate frame for illuminating the plate. The system will approximate the current of the plate filament, so it should work, if not I'll figure something else out.

And if it ever stops snowing around here I may actually start riding and forget all this ancillary stuff.

The more I know about the CAN-BUS system, the more I want to stay away.

DIY electrical work on a 15 Touring model will need to include a thorough understanding of the new BCM system before anyone starts cutting and splicing. I'll reiterate that I learned that some system errors can/will shut the bike down if the BCM thinks there's a big enough problem. That problem could be as simple as sticking the pointed probe of a test light thru the wire insulation.

Until the riding community gets up to speed on the new system I would advise caution.

That's nonsense! It simply means we owners will have to adapt, that's all. Most of the vehicle industry is using canbus now, as stated earlier, and the diy/custom industry has NOT ground to a halt! Harley will continue to sell us electrical add-ons with instructions, just like they always have.
