#63046-07, put mine in cold engine, probably 45 degrees in my garage, and it reads ERROR / 57 degrees, meaning "check your oil level". New 07 RK Custom, 46 miles and oil full.

Do I need to just try it after engine is hot or is there a problem with this dip stick?

I had one of these and liked it but if you are out of any parameter it reads "error". Meaning if the oil is cold or you don't wait long enough for it to settle after riding....when I used it was after fueling up...I would walk in to pay and then before getting back on check it. By then it read accurate. It's all spelled out in the instructions.

Check it 2 minutes after you turn the bike off once it's at operating temp. 3 - 4 bars means full. It's really accurate. If you have to much oil in the bike it will read High oil.

Have one on my '06 U/C.

Battery went dead after about 2 months.

Replaced the battery went on an over nighter where it got chilly, next morning the thing stopped working.

Never changed the battery again.

Pretty much a piece of SH*T! Very disappointed!!!!!!!!

The technolgy just isn't there! Nice idea.....if it worked properly!!!!

??????Instructions??????? We dont need any stinkin instructions. Who reads instructions. We're MEN with Super bikes. LMAO . I once read the instructions, made my head hurt and i got it wrong anyway.
