Thats the great thing about getting a kit from Fuel Moto, they had the gaskets included! It was everything we needed!

My FM kit did not have the exhaust gaskets.

The FM kits made by James Gaskets do have exhaust gaskets. They're not the typical HD cone mesh gaskets though. They're much smaller and thinner.

I've not used them though as I prefer the HD cone style gaskets.

For a few bucks each , it's worth having an extra set on hand. Just in case. Stock (not S.E.) gaskets work best.

So far I'm liking them. Good acceleration and mid range power. I have only put 100 or so miles on since I got them in. I'm waiting for better weather to make its way to Chicago area...

Removed the exhaust last night. No real issues. I hit the bolts with PBlaster the previous night and the bolts holding the exhaust to the jugs came off real easy. Almost to easy.

I read some guys remove the exhaust leaving the heat shields on? I'd like to see that. And exhaust gaskets, I can't see how it would be possible to reuse the old ones.

Reinstalling will definitely require another set of hands. I'm going to cut pushrods and remove lifters tonight. I'll Work into the CAM chest Friday & Saturday.

I also planning on doing some more cam jobs, after my buddies install his wife decided she needs one in her 2013 heritage. I also plan on doing one in my 2012 streetglide. So by the third it will be a walk in the park. Hell the first one was pretty simple anyway!
