I can truly say that I will NEVER pay another shop for a half *** balance job.
After reading these posts, I went to my commercial Truck tire dealer and bought 10oz for $15. The ones I bought were glass beads, not ceramic. I don't think it makes any difference. I put 2oz in each tire and hit the hwy to test it out.

Sounds kind of phony but the results were instant and unbelievable. Literally smooth as glass. Even at high speeds. Mark me down as convinced.

PS: this test was done on tires with about 30% wear on them after being rebalanced twice at shop because I was not impressed with vibration after install. Dunlop E3 front and American Elite rear

Just a thought to the people with front tire balancing bead problems. If you put beads in your front tire but still have weights on your rear tire, maybe the vibration your feeling is actually from the rear tire.

I thought the same thing that my rear tire was causing the problem since it needed changing. Changed the rear and the out of balance condition at 70 is still there. I am going to have the dynabeads pulled out and balanced again and see what happens. Never had an issue with the weights and started when the dynabeads were put it.

Got the dyna beads out of the front tire and checked balance and it came out 000 with no weight. The beads had stuck to the inside of the tire and only about 1/3 of them were still in motion. Took them out and ran up to 90 smooth as silk. Don't understand what was holding them in place. When I first had them installed the balance was fine. They had been in the tire about 5000 miles before noticed the balance problems. You could see a track about 1 inch wide in the center of the tire where beads had been running. Had to take air to blow them loose from the inside to get them out. Looked like static holding them in place. The beads weren't stuck in the center but on the side walls. This was after the tire machine had broken the tire down and removed from the rim. Very few would fall out of the tire. Even bounced tire on floor and they held tight. Tires are American Elite.

Dyna beads worked fine in mine for first 4 or 5 thousand miles. Started vibrating at 70 and got worse on up. Pulled them out and no more vibration. Happened in front tire.

same for me except it was only good with the beads for about 1000 or so miles, then the vibration started..
