Default Replacement Antenna for Street Glide
Has any one found a good replacement or the stock antenna on the SG?

Hidden?
Shorter?
etc?

take a good pair of linesman wier cutters and cut that whip in half, go from the spring end unscrew the set screw and cut and the put the balled end back on the bike,use locktite on the set screw

Go to an autoparts store and buy a shorty rubber antenna. Take the fairing off, install the antenna under fairing and ziptie. Unscrew whip antenna from back and take off. Get rubber plug from dealer to fill in hole.

Bought a stubby rubber antenna from autozone but then realized I could cut down the stock antenna. No reception loss and you hardly notice it.

Get a "Tune-Trapper" for the inside of the fairing and then throw that goofy-lookin stock setup in the barrel[8D]
