Default Rider back rest

Hi guys

I need a taller rider back rest. The wifey needs more room between her thighs and the bottom of the back rest. I also would like the back rest to be higher up on my back. I currently have the Harley back rest that you squeeze the bars together to install in the bracket under the seat.

The bike is an 08 ultra classic with a road zepplin seat.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

It seems that my ex-wife had TOO MUCH room between her thighs and other guys kept slipping in there. But I digress...

I just saw it on here somewhere when searching for something else, but can't remember where (sorry) - a guy made a higher, stiffer bracket for his rider backrest that really lifted it up. I wish I could be more help than that, but maybe try searching for "backrest" or something like that. Good luck!

basically cutting the 2 vertical rods, inserting & welding a piece of rod in the middle of each

then painting black, or a leather wrap

in terms of moving the tourpak back, user Dawg has posted a $5 30 minute 3rd position for the T/P.

They ship from HD in the forward position- the dealer is supposed to move to rearward position on set-up, some forget.
and with Dawg's help you can do a 3rd.

You could also add the Kuryakyn Tour Pack Relocator to move the Tour Pack back as well. I have one. Works great.

2010 Limited with some stuff
