anyone ever have any experience with the dynojet power commander III USB or the dyno jet power commander 5? how do they compare? and how are they different? anything feed back would be awesome, thanks!
I have ran both, replaced PCIII w PCV on an 02 when I added AutoTune. Running PCV on my 09 also.
IF you just do stage 1 and never ever change anything else, PCIII will do. PCV is much more, has more options you can use.
Everybody here will brag up the PowerVision, I have no experience with it.
If it were me, I'd buy the PCV from F/M. Because I like it, understand it and they double the warranty, load a map for your bike and give lifetime support and map upgrades.
I have a PC111 on my 2004 that I purchased from Fuel Moto. If you have a bike that does not use the NOS 02 sensors then a PC111 will work fine as it uses downloaded maps.
I ran a commander III on my '02 RKC. I now have PC-V on my '10 and '12.
I'm not a tuner but my basic understanding is that the PC-V has expanded tuning capabilities and also has add on capabilities like the Autotune and external controls like the air shifter. The PC-V can also have multiple (two) maps that the rider can switch between with the use of an external switch.
