A couple of years ago I bought a Zx7 because it was really low miles and it was cheap. I rode it around the block and promply gave it to my son. I hated it. He loves it! To each his own. Nice bike you got there. Congrats!
I rode several of em (From 650cc to 1400cc), but kept coming back to this one.
Hell I didn't even know what size it was when I rode it. But being used to Harleys, this one being heavier is what pretty much sold me on it. Felt Solid.
The suspension and ride was amazing.
I've been alternating between the StreetGlide and the Sportster, for the 200 mile (round trip) commute to & from work.
Just wanted to throw something else in the mix.
Got it from Cowboys - Beaumont.
Picking it up tomorrow after work. This is going to be a long couple of days.
Oh man i bet that gets the blood flowing !! I rode a co workers older version and have never been on a wheeled machine with such incredible acceleration! Have some fun !!
Have a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R750 in the barn here.
90 percent of my riding is on Harley's. Been that way since I bought my first fxe in the 70's.
However, a hair gets twisted down low every now and then. Floorboards down and sparking is on thing, 15 to 20 mph faster around the same curves with a knee dragging is another.
Don't know the scientific name but- "O HELL WHAT A RUSH" is my redneck name for it.
Nice! Traded between my ZX9r and RG when I was commuting 200miles a day. 14 was a little heavy to me but fast and comfortable. Had to quit sportbikes as my brain and reflexes are on the way out. Enjoy!
