10" Paul yaffe monkey bars
- Yes, they are taller than other 10" bars. I'd say about 11" or so. They just peek over the fairing.
- The fairing mounted mirrors are still somewhat useful being that I am 5'10". Any taller and your viewing angle will be different, and likely require bar mounted mirrors. I still may consider getting some bar mounted ones, as I only see about 1/2 the mirror.
- The wiring is just long enough, however you will need to reroute the plugs inside the fairing to below the radio in order to reach the shorter wires now coming from the bars.
- TBW: remove the green connector and solder the wires directly. Make sure not to mess up with the wiring of the TBW wires, as they are the same colors (There's a set with yellow tubing, and a set with black tubing). If you have no intention of wiring heated grips, cut the black connector coupled with the TBW wires. This way you have less wires to pull through.
- The brake line is fine. It's tight but fine. In my case I had to re-position the line at the master cylinder to angle it better, and straighten it slightly just below the eyehole with a pair of pliers.
- I was able to reroute the clutch cable to make it work using the insight from several posts here. Some people say that the clutch may disengage with the steering at full lock. I have yet to encounter that (only been two rides so far since the snow started melting). I'll order a +4 clutch cable if I do encounter issues, so budget for a +4 clutch cable just in case.
Take your time pulling the wires through. It's an experience to put it lightly. A lot of cursing and drinking will be involved.

Rides real nice, I'm happy while higher would give the cool factor I won't get harassed with these by the local popo. Wrist angles are nice. Have done a couple 12 plus hour days riding while in Florida and am very happy.
