Coming along nicely. Your wheel is here and should be assembled today and go out either today or tomorrow. The Whistler Phantom Cut on that bike is really going to set it off. I could not have chosen a better wheel for your bike myself. As always, thanks for your business, it is greatly appreciated by us at HogPro.
Drew...you have treated me great on everything I have bought from you....multiple wheels, rake kits, brake pads, calipers, etc etc. you guys are awesome to deal with and will be recommended time and time again....thx!!
well, took a little longer than expected to get on...I ordered the wheel from Drew at Hogpro, but ordered the rotors directly from Renegade since I had a gift certificate for them. The rotors arrived about 6 weeks ago and have been sitting in the box on in the shop. got the wheel delivered from hogpro on wed....go to mount the rotors and the left side (primary side) mounts fine...go to mount the right (cam side) and only one bolt hole will line up and thread in...the rest of the holes were about 1/8 off.
I call renegade and tell them whats going on, and they try telling me it is the way the hub is mounted....it has to be clocked...blah blah blah.... i explain to them, that this is not my first rodeo and I already verified that it is not the hub by mounting the left side rotor backwards on the right side of the hub and it works....therefore the machining is off on the right side rotor itself.... im being told that is impossible now. Anyway, after I send them about 30 pics of the rotors positioned diff ways, they finally agree to send out a new right side rotor FEDEX GROUND!!!! I was like NO WAY am I waiting 5-7 days...2 day that biatch.....they did and I got it today...bolted up like a champ, and here we go!!!!... also threw on a set of Lyndall pads while I was in there, and the rear wheel, pulley, and rotor are being powder coated gloss black next weekend for the time being till I decide to go smoothie or match the front!!
BTW....Renegade in no way was trying to douche me on this, they were just going through the motions of laying blame on something other than a machining problem, but they did own up to it and made it right quickly... sent me a return label for the bad rotor and that is that....would use them again in a heartbeat!!!
Good lookin fugly. The black and orange look great together. I was considering doin the same thing untill i seen an all black sg like mine with everything powder coated black like yours and was way to much for me.
