bought this 2011 Sedona Orange RG last summer since the SG that I'm currently rebuilding was getting a little too hot roddish to be using all the time...especially since my girl loves to ride and the worked over 120R motor was an oven on long rides!! so went and bought a cruiser. was bone stock when I bought it except for the thunder header, high flow AC, and a sert...had it for 2 weeks before I ordered the 16" Buky Malo 2 bars, sent a set of stock controls out for chrome, put on a color matched inner and Klock Werks shield....these pics are how it sat as of 2 days ago.
Anyway, had a bunch of extra chrome and stock takeoffs laying around from doing other jobs on friends bikes and such, so sent them all over to my powder coater and told him to gloss black everything there. Decided to go with a mix of black and chrome on this bike...make it a little different than all the others I see.
Front side done....rear still stock
front and back top end complete
Right side complete
Had to go with a custom Biltwell bottle opener point cover!!! took some machining to make it fit
figured while I was at it and Im doing all Hertz and JL in the SG build, I would use the Focal and Arc that used to be on that bike and put it on the RG along with a Boom Ipod controller and Daymaker headlight
Happy with how it came out....BUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT.....this should be here by next week hopefully...only going 21"...remember, this is my long, comfy, take the girl out for the day ride......FOR NOW!!!!! lol
Coming along nicely. Your wheel is here and should be assembled today and go out either today or tomorrow. The Whistler Phantom Cut on that bike is really going to set it off. I could not have chosen a better wheel for your bike myself. As always, thanks for your business, it is greatly appreciated by us at HogPro.
Well done sir, I like that apart from the overly tall looking bars but you might be 6'8" for all I know! Will look complete with the wheels, what about a change of seat?
Your bike is looking good man! I really like the changes you made to it. I have a 2014 Street Glide, but still have a love for the look of the Road Glide.....would be nice to have the simplicity of bar changes and stuff that the RG has as well....no more tearing the whole fairing apart to adjust bars....ha ha ha
Look forward to seeing pics with the new wheels on it
