The other day I was out riding my 2006 FLHXi with Vance and Hines True Duals and Screaming eagle pipes Harley Big air cleaner with 43,000 miles. My Android phone died so I plugged into my USB Charger located where most use a Cigarette lighter while stopped, turned the key to acc...seeing the cable could reach my pocket I turned the ignition to on position "you're right it won't start in the ACC position" and started the bike to head home...then noticed no Speedo or tach, no turn signals, no radio and the engine light on and security key light on...The bike was running and had no issues idling at several stoplights...so I made a beeline to home...then just as suddenly here's my speedo and Tach and turn signals and engine light is off. Any Clues as to what just happened?

You should clean or replace the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). Faulty VSS causes speedo, signal light canceling, and auto radio volume to not work. It also cause a poor idle, did your bike want to stall out when you came to a stop?
Check and see the stored trouble code or if there is one, then you might have a idea if there is anything amiss.
Also if there is not maybe try to duplicate the problem and if you cannot there might not be any type of issue.
I had my 2004 act up one time where it flashed the turn sigs super fast, the check engine light was on and then it stopped. No codes and I could not make it happen again. That was 2 yrs and 20k ago.

In order to provide more accurate information please provide the year, model, mileage and if possible describe modifications to the motorcycle.
I will guess that by charger you mean that you have some kind of cigarette style usb device charger.
Based on the limited information provided i will guess you have a loose battery cable...but that would be a guess.
