security help
Hey, I know I don't post hardly ever, sorry, but I need help! My 2008 street glide sits all winter in my unheated garage. I have always taken the battery out and stored it in the basement on a shelf. This year the battery is 5yrs. old and I knew I was going to replace it any way, so I just left it in the bike. Even though it seems to be ok, lites are bright and all seems ok, but it wouldn't turn over. I just assumed the battery was too low. I just got a big crank and put in. The red key is on solid most times even with the fobs present-new batteries in fobs. Sometimes the red key flashes but it still will not start. I bypassed the system by putting in my code and it fired right up. Anyone have any wisdom on this problem? Thanks and RIDE TO LIVE!!!

You sir are a genius!!! Turns out I had only replaced one fob battery, and I put it in wrong. The other fob battery was dead, so when I tried them both, neither one worked. I thought I had another problem. I also replaced the batteries in my wifes fobs for her Fatboy-got them in the right way. Now if I only had my 2 new tires! I think I'm gonna go with commander II's. I put them on her Fatboy last year. Thanks again, ride safe ,
