14 SG Question ?

Did the MOCO change the engine guard on the '14 Touring bikes from the '13's? I have HD factory lowers on my '13 SG and am thinking about getting a '14. They take forever to get so it would be nice if they would bolt right on the '14

engine guards

I already checked this out and the 14 engine guard has an (A) after it, the 13 does not, something has changed and as i further checked for aftermarket fairing lowers they all say not compatable with 14's.. If anyone has better info, please pm me as i am ready to buy the aftermarket lowers

I'm interested as we'll. I can get a set off a 12' for cheap and wonder if they will fit my 14'.

Bump ......... anyone have the answer? Are previous year lower fairings interchangeable with the 2014 model??

The frame didn't change. Look up the following part numbers on Moco's site. They both fit 09-14 touring bikes.

Engine Guard Kit - 49050-09A
Chrome Mustache Engine Guard - 49155-09A
