I've been running rear air ride with monroes for couple years now and haven't had single problem out of them. And I ride pretty much everyday all year long. bike is getting ready to turn over 98k miles.

Thats reassuring to hear. I have no experience with air ride, so going off other peoples experience.

So you saying you put 49k miles a year on those Monroe's? Or the bike has 98k but not the shocks?

I have the Dirty Air Baller system on my '14 Limited and just got back from an 1100 mile trip with absolutely no problems at all and it is really nice to find that "sweet spot" on the ride comfort while you are riding without having to stop and air the rear shocks up and guess if it is going to be comfortable.

lol my bad I didn't make that very clear. I've had air ride for somewhere between 3-4yrs and have put prob 20k miles on bike with air ride. I only added that The bike has 98k to show that it gets ridden a lot and the air ride hasn't given me any problems while out on the road.

But in my opinion a lot of the reliability issues & failures I've seen/heard of were result of usually one of these.
1.) Monroe shocks not having eyelet reinforced (welded)
2.) poor routing of air lines or no protective covers on air lines causing blown lines
3.) compressor or dump valve failure

That's just my opinion from what I've seen/read over past few years. I have no first hand experience with any of the high end air ride systems like Legends, Arnott, etc. But can't help but think that any of the systems that have both control of ride height & rebound would be a lot better choice, but not within my budget sadly. lol

I've had my air ride kit on my 2012 streetglide since beginning of this summer and have had one shock crack and one shock blow out. Def changing to something else come winter I use my bike for travel way too much to have these problems.
