I am considering buying a Screamin Eagle tuner. I have a 2007 Road Glide, High Flow air cleaner(Screamin Eagle) and Vance and Hines mufflers. All else is stock. Am I chasing the wrong animal?
The best thing to do is to look at all of your options, and see which is best for your financial situation, and the abilities that you want to be able to do with whatever you get.
the canned maps for the SEPST are pretty good. TTS maybe little better. Only problem with the SEPST you can not calibrate the speedometer. The TTS and PV can. The PV also doesn't have too good of canned maps if you are adding cams. FM will supply if you purchase from them. Dynajet has gotten much better on the call in request for maps also. The PCV is very limited to the maps with cams. If you decide to add cams it is difficult to get a good map as not many are listed. You can get some from FM. I personally prefer the PV over the PCV. The PV has much more flexiblity. The PCV simply takes away and adds fuel and timing at rpm and throttle position. It also remains on the bike, which can cause problems if moisture gets in the connection or PCV.
Awesome deal! I bought the Superchips tuner. 1/2 off and I can avoid the dealer... No brainer. Dealer wanted an install fee and Dyno time to set it up. Thanks to all for the help.
