Are controls interchangeable??
Anyone know if the controls are interchangeable from 2011 to 2007? A member has a set of the 10" monkey bars off his 2011, internally wired, ready to go. I know Id have to use my throttle cables, but does anyone know if they has the same electrical plugs and if the grips are set up for throttle cables? Thanks for any help

No; the '011 cables are wired for TBW, the '07 was still cables (which is why I bought an '07). Also, the '011 has something called LAN, or Can-Bus, whatever THAT is. They work totally differently from standard controls. Something to do with resistance that controls the circuit. Not familiar with any of this, but I know they are not interchangeable.

You'd have to get a new right side housing and throttle so you can attach your cables. You can always just use the monkey bars with your controls.
