I'm a little different in that I do prefer to look through the shield instead of over it. Yesterday I received a Flat Top 10" clear shield from LRS, 3 days after placing my order. It literally took 3 minutes to have the old shield off and the new one installed.
They are on sale now, $40 off reg price and when I inquired about a forum discount they knocked another $18 off. That paid for shipping plus a couple bucks.
VERY happy with the Flat Top. Nice dead air space behind it for both me and my wife. I can recommend with no hesitation.
