Soft Brake sells a plate relocator that puts the plate under the turn signals. 40 bucks I think. And Kuryakyn sells a kit that has a plate holder and led fender lip trim for $170 I think. You still have to buy the little plate that will fill the holes in the loop from HD or Kuryakyn though. Unless you like unfilled holes

Seeing all of these great rlooking ear ends is really pissing me off that I bought the Ultra. [:@]Short of replacing the entire rear fender on my Ultra, I can't make this happen. Any suggestions to get the "look" without spending a $1000+ to do it?

crp5: The Street Glide facia parts are less than $200. I bought an SG fender from HD for $171.00 primed and paid ~$75 to have it painted to match my bike, along with the facia. If you stop here, you are under $500.00. You will have to ditch the saddlebag guard rails that wrap around the saddlebags, but those are easily removed, or you can sell the rails and saddlebag guards and replace them with the plain saddlebag support rail (like the SG, RG, and RK Custom) or the HD chrome saddlebag guards (like the EG Standard). In either case, if you sell the take-offs you will either come out even or ahead in $$$.

If you want to move the license plate below the tailight and/or replace the pancake turn signals, the max cost is $225 for the SG set-up; there are less expensive alternatives.

From a cosmetic standpoint, the change to the rear of bike is a lot of bang for the bucks, IMHO, and you don't have to do it all at once.

Shop these 2 parts at Zanottis or Chicago HD and you'll save a bunch if you opt not to do the SG facia mod. Just trying to help and not hijack..

Darren, I hope someone will be brave and paint the HD tri-bar accessory to color match the rear fender. Using color-matched saddlebag filler strips would be a really good look with the color-matched tri-bar fender extension, IMHO.

I am patiently waiting for this to happen myself Carl. I would really like for it to be a painted factory part, as I dont have good luck with painted plastic parts from painters around here. Flex agents are something these guys seem to go "dumb" on..........don't know why but the paint ALWAYS peels.[&o]

Have wondered what the stock fender would look like with the filler strips, but haven't seen any pictures of a bike with them or one in person. Wonder if you could get the new tri-bar powder coated?

Powder coated, no. ABS plastic would melt, but painted, yes
