thanks again for all the good replies. we have ALL the right gear.gear was bought first before the bike. she has been riding by herself since her teens. this two up thingy will be new for us together.
Good plan on getting use to the bike. Take the MSF Course as a refresher... get the Ride LikeA PRO DVD. Then make sure she has all the creature comforts.. i.e. a backrest of sorts, a comfortable seat and is properly dressed... If mama is not happy... rutro. Ain't nothing like getting an earfull while driving down the road lmao. Been there and done that. One of the first things I bought for my RG was a tour pack and made sure the passenger seating was in order.
Number 2 rule. NO DUDES! There just ain't any reason good enough, even if the boogyman is after them.
I'm not saying, but Freud would say you have latent homosexual tendencies with an insecure masculine identity and paranoid overcompensation.
There are many good reasons to ride adude on the back of your bike. Recently a buddy spilled but was OK enough for me to get him to medical help. He rode bitch all the way to the medical clinic. The bike was toast. "A man's got to do what a man's got to do" no excuses no regrets.
Just kidding you, don't take offense. BTW, the bit about the accident was true.
no worries here. if a friend is in need ok if i had a son ok but im Not and WILL NOT put aman on the back of my motorcycle for enjoyment.we will save that for the CASTRO dudes in san francisco. BTW thats another thread.
Lots of nice roads in your area, but lots of traffic too. Just make sure you don't scare her, and tell her to keep her back planted in the middle of the backrest. Then she won't have a reason to backseat drive.
