I am going to look at a 2008 Ultra classic anniversary edition tomorrow.

All records and completely stock other than the chrome front end.
There are two main problems I for see with the bike. One is it needs new rotors on the front end. The other is mileage and that is 120k.
The reason I am tempted is for the ABS and the six speed. I do lots of highway rides and want to stay on a older frame. I have some custom parts that can't transfer over. The price is reasonable (10k) and wanted to see what you guys think.
My bike is a 99 ultra that I installed 510 gear cams, thunder header exhaust and dynojet. Most of my parts will transfer. It has almost 60k on it.
I know the new frames are supposed to be better. I just don't want to have to buy more parts and or have some remade. The old frame is what I want and or need. If I had the extra cash I would do a Rushmore but well out of my price range.
I am only even thinking of this for ABS and the six speed. Granted this one has the newer security, injection, and tank. The low retail is about 13k on one in this area.
I know the mileage is high if you were tempted what would you think on price and would you be tempted at all.

There's a lot more to consider than just drivetrain on a high mileage bike. Wheel bearings, neck bearings, swing arm bushings, belt, wear on the latches, motor will need (at least) a top end soon and that 6 speed you want so bad already has lots of wear.
If I were you, I'd do a 95" kit and install a Baker 6 speed. It would be cheaper and you already know what you've got as far as wear and reliability
120K why would you even consider it?
6 speed is not that big a deal nor is ABS. You have to get into an 09 up if you want to get out of your outdated frame among many other things.
Keep looking, I wouldn't give 10K for a 14 with 120K.
