I'm thinking of installing some kind of small driving lights on my crash bar. The Kuryakyn lights in the attached link, with the led upgrade option look interesting. Has anyone installed them? Any feedback?
Not sure how well they light things up ahead of the trike, but if getting noticed is what you're after, check out these uber-bright LEDs from Hyperlights; bright, light, easy to mount anywhere, and very noticeable.
I had some of their blinky LED things on each side of the license plate of my previous bike and they worked extremely well. I was thinking of getting those or mounting some of their other combo amber/red LED sets on my trike to set it off a little.
The local dealer sells Motolight sets for about $400. A whole bunch of our local LEs use them and rate them very highly. They aim them like fog lights, which light up the sides of your travel direction. I'm already planning on how I can hide the expense from my marital department of the treasury...
