Default Anyone know The Dyno Difference in Plano?

Looking to get my bike dyno tuned and wonder if anyone in the D/FW area has any info on The Dyno Difference LLC in Plano, TX

http://www.thedynodifference.com/Home_Page.html

He wants $395, and I don't think that's too much for a good tuner but only if he's good. So I'm looking for opinions on him.

Also, he says that as part of the prep work he changes the plugs, checks the ion and O2 sensors, checks exhaust for leaks. He also recommends replacing the plug wires. Can they really be ready for replacement at 25,000 miles? If so, what brand wires would you guys recommend and where would you get them?

Thanks

David

the only comment(s) I'll make is that the "ion sensing" is through the plug wires and the plug itself.
some riders here who have switched to "performance" plugs and wires, even by screaming eagle, have had poor drivebility results.

for that reason I just use the stock stuff on mine.

but then i don't have a tuner or a dyno tune on my bike

had him tune 2 bikes so far and it was well worth the drive for me. I changed the plug wires on my ultra prior to going up there he recommended plain old harley replacements. very happy with the results. My sportster had been to 2 different "tuners" that were local to me and it never really ran good until Ed tuned it.

Ed is a great guy.. Knows his chit and tunes very well. I too have had a couple tuned by him when time didn't permit me to do my own. And I haul them up there from Houston. Nary an issue.
as for the plugs and wires, change them prior to heading over there with the same thing that's helped you along this far, stock. You have to be careful of aftermarket wires and plugs as they will render ion sensing useless and your bike will start throwing codes.

A great tuner, get your wires before coming to the Dallas area most dealers want to sell you SE wires which do not have the correct resistance for the sensors. When I was there with a friends bike last week he could show us on the dyno where the engine was dumping gas because of false readings from the wires that were bad. Be sure and have your intake and exhaust setup that you plan on keeping before the tune.

I put high performance plug wires on my 07 SG and it threw codes and spit like a ***** in church until my Indy guy told me to put on the plane old ugly oem plug wires and I haven't had a problem since.
