The phrase 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder' couldn't be more true. The V-Rod is what lured me into the HD world and I'll never look back. I've loved the lines on that bike since I first saw the announcement and finally got one in 2005. Hands down the best bike I'd ever had. Most of the 60k I've put on it was doing the week long trips so, although I didn't like the looks of the Road Rod kit, the unfinished inners and brackets...I certainly understand it. Many people who know how great that motor is and who love the power also want the comfort of a bagger...they've been talking about how much they wish the Moco would finally bring out a bagger with the heart of the V-Rod for many years, to no avail. Cyclevisions is just capitalizing on that...good for them.
I've now got an Ultra which I'm equally in love with but I know there's plenty of haters for it's looks too...it's what makes the world go 'round. I still have the V-Rod since I can't bear to part with it.

Not a fan of the "Road-Rod", but I am not really a fan of the V-Rod, so that may have something to do with it. Love me the road glides though, it will be my next bike. (one more year to wait, my youngest graduates from college June 2015) Then, I should get back some financial freedom. Will probably go with a 11-13 RG Ultra.

I really like the Road Rod. Those RG fairings will work with almost anything.
