I've loved the lines on that bike since I first saw the announcement and finally got one in 2005. Hands down the best bike I'd ever had. Most of the 60k I've put on it was doing the week long trips so, although I didn't like the looks of the Road Rod kit, the unfinished inners and brackets...I certainly understand it. Many people who know how great that motor is and who love the power also want the comfort of a bagger...they've been talking about how much they wish the Moco would finally bring out a bagger with the heart of the V-Rod for many years, to no avail. Cyclevisions is just capitalizing on that...good for them.
I've now got an Ultra which I'm equally in love with but I know there's plenty of haters for it's looks too...it's what makes the world go 'round. I still have the V-Rod since I can't bear to part with it.
I often thought that a different headlight design would be good, I think the fairing accomplishes that. I saw a vrod in Dallas that the owner had somehow rigged the dual lights from the dyna , I liked it alot. But most of all, I love the power of that motor..huge.

They are doing more with the Revolution engine. The 500 and 750 Street are smaller versions.

A larger version WILL be in a touring bike coming to your neighborhood in due time.

This is what I did to my wife's V. Bob Dron fairing, like a mini batwing. Bags would have taken away from the bike, but I considered stretched bags

Not a fan of the "Road-Rod", but I am not really a fan of the V-Rod, so that may have something to do with it. Love me the road glides though, it will be my next bike. (one more year to wait, my youngest graduates from college June 2015) Then, I should get back some financial freedom. Will probably go with a 11-13 RG Ultra.

3rd and 4th pics down (flames and on lift) in reply #2 look just fine to me.

More than just fine -- why can't I buy a "Road Rod" like this from HD???

If I had lottery money i would be custom/mass producing V-Glides to order, till moco gets their act together and sees that market share they will take from BMW and Honda
