I like that. Replace the spoke wheels with some nice mags and that thing would be perfect.
I just got back from the dealer for some seals and gaskets, and while I was there I drooled over some new SG's... The Revo motor with a very slight bump in displacement can easily make 150hp/100tq. Inside one of those bikes, it would be fantastic!
Has any addressed the range issue yet? The biggest problem is the V-Rod muscle gets about 125 miles to a tank, about 105 before the light comes on. Atleast my buddy's bike is that way. That is a pain in the *** on long runs.

Well it's a 5-gallon tank on the V-Rod. If you're putting around you can get 200 miles easy. The problem is that with all that power, it's hard to just putt! The gas light is also deceiving, because when it comes on, I find there's still 1-1.5 gallons left... If they put a 6-gal tank in a Revo powered touring bike, 250mi/tank would be easily obtainable if you stay limp wristed....
We were on a cross country trip. We switched bikes for a stretch. I was running 80-85 in a pack of bikes. Fuel light on at 110 miles, gauge displayed "LO" at 130 miles. I ran out of gas, at the exit for a gas station, at about 145 miles. that was with a batwing fairing and hard-bags loaded down; and I go about 225 lbs. Oh, And any "With all that power" comments, need to be followed by a "for a Harley" disclaimer....LOL Just busting your *****, they are a pretty stout bike.

Haha of course! The bike is a slow turd compared to the European/Japanese sport market. The added weight/drag you had on that bike probably affected the mpg for sure, I usually get 130-150 on my bare bike with my 225lb *** ripping on it half the time. Has light goes on about the same time and like I said there's at least a gallon left when it does...
