Default Extended bags yes/no?

Had a question on extended bags. Do they offer more cargo space or are the extended bags just for looks? I'm trying to decide between getting the matching rear wheel to match my 21" front wheel or have the stock rear wheel powder coated gloss black and get extended bags. Not sure which route to go. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Marginal extra space. Drag in the corners if you ride hard. Look cool tho.

I have TopShop. They are extra space in the bottom and are carpeted inside and they put a floor in so your extra space is under the removable floor. I like my extended bags and use the extra space too.

you can get some extra tools or little stuff in there just look at your bag and figure the outside over the hump gets deeper depending how extended you go. Looks bad *** just put skids on the bottom

Yep quite a bit more space. I have camtech bags and use a false floor that is where my stock bags ended. Room for tools, rain gear, etc under that.

I did have to add skid plates tho as I drug mine a couple times on steep parking lot transitions.

Love mine, more space and makes bike look longer and sleeker. In my opinion.

They do look kool but make the bike a pain to ride in the twisties or even around town. I'll never have them again!

That is my major concern. I care how my bike looks but I want to keep it ridable without limitations to what I add to it for appearance. I do like the looks of the extended bags and how it makes the bike look low and sleek. Not sure if it's for me for the way I ride. Might be more of a PITA then anyting. If I was going to go with extended bags who/where is a place to get them for a 2-into-1 right side pipe setup? Thanks!
