What do you do with them when off the bike? Seems mine are off a lot for maintenance or whatever, and they nicely rest wherever I put them. This is the main reason I have steered from doing this mod.

Maybe the 3"s would be an acceptable compromise?

The 4's are border-line ridiculous IMO, regardless of the "kool factor."

If I was going to go with extended bags who/where is a place to get them for a 2-into-1 right side pipe setup? Thanks!
TopShop can do dual cutouts,1 cutout,or no cutouts.

I have their 4" bags with no cutouts, and my 2-1 ends up underneath the bag.

Mine are 5". See how they're scalloped on the bottoms? If I ever scrape them, I'll probably be having bigger problems than scraped bags. Re. more room? Not that much. Got mine for looks rather than a little extra room. If bags are long enough, you won't even see enough of the rear wheel to have to change it. I'd keep the rear wheel & get the bags. Also, a fender cover. Mine is Gator Boxes. $375 shipped. Needs to be painted. The stock rear fender is still on the bike. Bags are Fairing Factory. About $600.

I personally didn't like the full extension so I just bought the CVO bags. 1" to 3" hopefully won't drag em. I didn't want to have to worry so much about scuffing up 600 bags.

I think they look really cool without the tour pack on and with a solo saddle, but lose their cool factor when a tour pack is added.

+1. I am not a fan of the ones that are extended all the way from front to back but I do like the CVO bags that extend down in the rear portion.
