Same deal here. I upgraded my girls pegs to floorboards and used the rear pegs for the engine guards. The basic clamps to mount the pegs are like 40.00
It would also be helpful to provide your inseam size and shoe size, for perspective.
Fender,
I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam. The sneakers I'm wearing are a size 10 1/2 (no I don't normally wear these riding, usually flip-flops but it was raining when I walked out to the garage to take these pictures LOL). As you can see the ball of my foot is on the peg and my heel is on the board.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! Thanks for taking the time, Chief21. This is great. I like the relaxed look, with your heel on the 'boards and your foot on the pegs.
Now, is it still comfortable when you have your feet entirely on the pegs, or is it more of a stretch for you?

Hey, Chief21, I just received a set of Streamliner pegs from the HDF Classifieds, and I rolled down to Barb's HD today and picked up the 3-piece clamp with my dealer points! Hope to get it all set up this week. I'll let you know how it works out for me.

Thanks, again.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. If I rest my foot with the peg right at the arch of my foot,so that the space in the sole of my boots between the heal and toe area kind of hooks on the peg it's not too bad of a stretch. If I try and rest my heal on the peg it's a little bit of a stretch and my knees feel locked. Resting my foot on the board and my toes on the pegs is almost like the feeling of the forwards on my Dyna, except my legs are a little bit straighter. Super comfortable for me and now my feet automaticaly just go there.

I like your assessment of the three (3) positions. With our inseam lengths and shoe sizes being very similar, I hope to share in your positive experience with this setup.
My preferred position will probably also be using the 'boards and pegs, together. My next favorite position will probably be feet on the pegs. I don't think I would ever use the heels on the pegs; too scary for me.
I hope to get the pegs installed and roughed in this week. I'll be sure follow up on my experiences with them.
