Can also consider aftermarket solutions.

There's an entire section devoted to audio upgrades, I suggest you read it. I'm pretty sure you can use later model stock CVO speaker pods for your lowers. As for head units, ditch the stock one and swap in an aftermarket, bluetooth equipped one. Lots of people like the Sony, myself included. To do an amp, head unit, and speakers off of Amazon is $5-600, adding another set of speakers for lowers is extra. Of course, you can go big too. What is your budget?

I've got speakers in the lowers and I'm not that impressed,i would get a good head unit,2 of the best 6.5"s in the fairing and put all the amp power to them that they will handle.

I've got a set of fairing factory speaker pods for your non-vented lowers if ya are interested. Had them on my EG before I went to vented lowers and CVO pods. Got the lowers too if anyone is interested?
