OP, definately NOT the original Harley Engine Guard Bar.
Here's a photo of a stock engine guard bar:
Notice the quite pronounced bend forward-

I think you guys are right, there is something definitely going on with those bars according to the pictures.

Yea I went by a local Indy shop that sells used bikes. Huge difference. So... I'm in the market for a used Highway Bar 09-13.
