HEY GUYS JUST FINISHED MY BUILD, 103 ANDEWS 54 H CAMS TOOK IT OUT TONITE TO BREAK T IN AND RAN GREAT, JUST WONDERING IF THE VAULVE TRAIN GETS A LITTLE NOISYER WITH THE 54 CAMS THAN NORMAL? THIS IS MY FIRST ATEMPT??

Should be close to stock valve train sound but you will pick up intake noise. Pretty happy with 54s in mine.

Realizing they have different specs, did 57Hs this winter. Got a little more noise from the valve train and definitely more noise from the intake. Performance gains well worth the increased noise.

Kinda think of it as being with Kate Upton while on a squeaky mattress.

I sure love my 54's. No noise to speak of, that I can here.

I just had Andrews 48 installed in my 103, there is more noise. Like the others have said much more noticeable at the intake. So far I am very happy with them, I have to get momma on to know for sure.

Andrews makes some really good cams and a lot of other folks aftermarket cams too.

Me too, loving my 54H grind. Most if not all the noise is coming through my air intake. With a open end filter, you will hear more noise.

Its from the increased overlap, both valves being open at the same time longer.
