Need A New Battery
The battery on my 2006 FLHX-I is shot, can anyone tell me what Harley used as the OEM battery when the bike was new back in 06? I want to replace it with an original...

many of us ( most?) use the Big Krank, which is made by Deka/ East Penn.
and usually about $100 from battery mart or amazon.
the same manufacturer makes a very similar battery that'll run you about $160 at the dealer

I just went out this evening to take a ride, dead battery, only lasted 7 years LOL,
Quick trio to Advance Auto Parts and a little cash, good as new. I know it will be hard for some to believe, but it started up with a battery that didn't come from a Harley Dealer.

I ordered mine on May 4th and it was here in Vermont on May 8th with standard (free) shipping.
