After a lot of PMs with dugan, I ordered 8 inch LRS on Monday and it was on my porch this morning. Threw on my 1/2 DOT to go test it out. I got the bike up to 75-80 and BAM! I didn't have to put a death grip on the chin strap. My helmet had no buffeting at all. Lifted my hand in front of my face and noticed wind didn't hit my hand until it was a high up on my helmet and not near the brim. I'm happy and ready for my ride to Canada!
Now--I luv my 6.5 KW and I think it looks so much cooler---but I actually can live with height of this shield. It doesn't appear to be HUGE! Think I'm going to order a 7 inch too cuz I'm loving this one so far....or a 6 inch.
The KW was fine up to 70ish if I had on DOT 1/2 helmet....then had to strap it tight. With skully--no issues, but I've been more safety conscience lately.
I stay with their 6" around town and shorter trips, but for longer ones like Canada you will be glad you have it when the temps drop or the rain starts. I jump to a 9" on the long trips, and have been thankful more than once!
Good way to test your new 8" would be to head down to MBBW this weekend, just saying.
I'm leaving for the day in the morning, just sticking with the 6" for down there though.
Did you use the forum code for the discount?

yeah I used the code .wont make the trip to MB though ..will be gone for 4 days next week, so spending some time with the fam this weekend.
My experience with LRS shields is don't overtighten those three bolts. Unfortunately they do crack with to much tightening. At the low prices LRS has, why not have a supply of different sizes?
Sfcmo......I like that Razor Pack.......just got mine in this week, waiting for the mount to be delivered on Tuesday.
Which model did you buy ? I see they have a few types
How talk are you ?
I'm in the market for a shield

Thanks bro---trust me, you will love it. For SG(s), its what most of us run here. For RG(s), by buddies run the chop. This is all the storage I need and serves its purpose.
