Sensor error? Road King 1999
Hi guys and girls.
I have a problem with my Road King 1999 with a MM injection system.
I start up an cold engine and run for between 15 to 30 minutes without any problems. Then a short stop for 30 to 60 minutes or so. I start up again and the bike runs normally for about 5 minutes, and then the problem starts, it looses power, malfunctiuns and barely run. It does not stop, but does not pick up speed.
I was thinking that this might be a sensor problem?, any idea on whitch sensor?

How many miles on your bike? Have you changed the fuel filter? If not, I would start there and also replace the fuel lines inside the tank as they have been known to rub against the tank and develop small pin holes in them. Good luck!

hi,
i must say, that when i got this reply, i did not take any notice of it, as i was sure it was a sensor problem since trouble disapeared with just a flick of the switch (ignition switch that is). but after trying a lot of other sollutions i changed the fuel filter, and now everthing i working.
