Default abs light

I changed my pads little while ago on the rear and have been on a couple of rides and then today the abs light stays on and the back rotor is hot. is the rotor supposed to get hot. any thoughts

Well, the rotors will be hot after riding.

But the fact you have an abs light on does indicate a problem.
But just saying the rotor is hot does not help much really.

thanks didn't know if that was normal that the rotors would get hot, but after reading another thread on this I started checking wires and found a break in the front by the forks someone already repaired it so all is well I fixed it and ride on, no abs on anymore with out the help of a dreaded dealer tk god
