Mine did the same after my S&S 97 inch big bore kit plus I am also running SE 204 cams, I adujusted it and put a stiffer clutch spring in, no problems or slipping anymore.

Picked up some type-F yesterday. I'll try to adjust and check this weekend. Thanks all.

Adjusted the clutch and drained & replaced the fluid. Nothing special on the drain plug but the fluid was like brown soup. One quick run up and down a 1/4 mile stretch seemed OK. I'll find out for sure over the next week of commuting.

Well a couple hundred miles of mixed city & highway later... Clutch seems fine now. The simple adjustment seems to have done the trick. I do still occasionally hear a light metalic "clank" sound when the clutch engages, but no slipping at all.

Thanks all. Greg

The wiz is a waste of money.. Get the right spring to start.. I use stock plate count Barnetts.. A little cheaper..

Not many miles on a clutch, I had 97k on my 98 Softail and with proper adjustment it was fine...never any slipping.

Explain?

'Cause I've got less pull effort than stock and it's not slipping, even with my build.
