From all I have read I am either going with the Rienhart TD system or a Thunder 2 into 1 with a falsee left muffler. But I really need you guys help. I just can't decide.
I like the looks of both so thats not a even a issue.
Cost is not a issue.
What I want for in a exhaust system falls in this order;
#1 sound quality not quainty; deep, deep, deepbut not ear busting loud
#2 performance; I have a 06 RKC FI 88 with a SEfilter and stage 1 download, but planing a 95 build in the next couple months with either a sert or PCIIIso I want a system that will grow with the motor.
Any experenced ideas would be very welcome. Thanks
go with your gut feeling.....rh td
i have the sert but am thinking about going to DTT or Thundermax.
Have had my Rinehart TD's for about a month now. Sound great. A little louder than I was hoping, but real smooth. Rode 100 miles Sunday and no problems on the highway. Radio is okay too.
Rinehart True-Duals - Sound GREAT - Look Great - Better Quaility (now that they fixed the rear header pipe problem) - But seems llike just about EVERYONE has them anymore
Thunder Headers - Look Good - GREAT PERFORMANCE - Poorer Quaility - Little Quiter over-all then the Rineharts
Been their done that with the Rineharts. They will never go back on my Bike never ever again. The more mods I did the more low end TQ I lost.[sm=boosign.gif]
2-1 is the only way to go.[sm=escape.gif] OH and yeah mine is a Thunderheader..........[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Just my 2 cents
Not sure I'd agree with the T-Headers being quieter than the Rineharts. A friend of mine bought his 05 Glide a few months before I got mine, and built it up (S&S 107", Baker 6sp, and Rineharts). Sounded great, don't get me wrong! My Glide (also an 05) still has the 88" and a Thunderheader, and I think they are pretty close is loudness.
